Make sure you ask your sponsor for help whenever you need it. If they don’t hear from you then how can they help?

It is very important to approach your learning of Internet Marketing in a methodical and thorough manner. To do otherwise, will see you hopping from one “opportunity” to another, always looking for the magic formula to make you rich.

Believe me when I say the magic “get rich quick” formula, so often hyped up by proponents of get rich quick schemes, simply does not exist! However everything you desire and that which is worthwhile in this world will come to you, if you persist at building a proven home business.

Put simply if others are making decent money from an opportunity on the Internet then you can too! However it will not happen without a consistent effort from you. It will not happen overnight. If you have the strength of will and the degree of persistence required, then we have the opportunity and the proven means for you to attain a lucrative home income.

What You Need To Do.

There are two quite distinct paths that many people follow. One is to seize the opportunity immediately and buy leads generated by companies that specialize in this from day one. It means your business is growing from the start as you learn the best ways to promote on and off line.

The other path I see people follow time and again is to try to do it all themselves. They start placing free ads everywhere before they know how to keycode them. They submit to FFA pages before they set up dump accounts and get swamped with thousands of emails. They submit with auto submission services to the search engines and don’t get any results at all. In short they think they have to do it all themselves and do not grasp the fact that others already have a proven system working.

Destined To Fail

Often these people will spend 6 months or more chasing their tails and never succeeding at any one thing. Generally they are the ones who simply give up never to return. It is a pity really because if they had approached the task at hand in a methodical manner and with an open mind to learning, they would have been earning a nice income after six months. Instead you see these unfortunates becoming “Internet Marketing Junkies”. Usually spending around two to three weeks before moving on to the next “golden opportunity”.

Mark my words. They are destined to fail! Unless you have the know how to build massive spam free email lists then this type of shallow marketing is useless. You lose all your credibility and not one person will ever believe anything you say again in relation to a home business!

The Basics of Getting Started Right.

You have signed up for your Six Figure Income Internet Income Course! You have been through your Smart Start section on the website… what you haven’t done this?…. Shame on you! Right you are back again and completed the Smart Start. You have your Gateway URLs sorted out, you have your goals written down and when you are going to achieve them and you are ready to go.

The first thing you need to do now, that’s if you are really serious about a home income, is to have leads (affiliates) in your downline as quickly as possible.

The best way to do this is to sign up for the Eagle Co-op lead generating system. Whoa I hear you saying that is going to cost me more money. Well of course it is. You didn’t think leads grew on trees did you? Leads come from somewhere. You either generate leads by talking to lots of people, advertising on the Internet, or offline, or you buy leads.

Now that you have found out about Eagle Co-op and hopefully ordered at least one share at $45 we can start exploring other ways of getting leads generated. What’s this I hear? You don’t want to spend any money? Oh OK you want to start your own business and never advertise it! Have you ever seen a successful business that never advertised? I haven’t. I don’t think they exist.

Sure there may be quite a number of businesses that rely solely on word of mouth after many years of gathering loyal customers but you can be sure those original customers read, saw or heard an advertisement for that business somewhere.

Just like the advertising you will need to do to get started. To succeed in business you must advertise! I’ll repeat that.

Setting Up Your Own Domain Name

Like it or not all the successful Internet marketers have their own Domain Name. The reasons aren’t all that clear when you first start an affiliate marketing business. After all you have just had your own “Gateway Page” provided by Six figure Income and your name is there on the web page for everyone to see right?

Well yes of course it is but who is going to see it? You have to promote that page and advertise it. You think promoting an affiliate website page is simple. Well think again. You and millions of other people on the Internet are all trying to promote affiliate web pages. How many people give any credence to an URL that reads like a some secret code from the Second World War.

This is my own domain and is simple and easy to remember. Better still it allows me to advertise a number of special lead generating systems all on the one page. Instead of just one opportunity, which may not interest the visitor, any number of the other reports or free training etc may. This multiplies my chances of generating a lead.

Now in addition, you see if you can easily fit a great, convoluted URL onto a business card or into a simple classified ad in a regional paper. What? You didn’t think you would need a business card? Come on! Meeting people and giving out your business card is one of the best ways to get people to your site.

In fact if you wanted to, you could promote your business entirely offline simply by using business card fliers! I wont go into that here. I cover this in depth in later reports.

So by now I hope you are starting to realise your own domain is an absolute necessity. Want more reasons. No problems. Did you know trying to get an affiliate site listed on any search engine is about as difficult as selling ice to an Eskimo. You have about a snowflakes chance in hell of succeeding! So don’t even think about it.

Search engines are set up to seek out all affiliate URLs and deliberately ignore them. This prevents the system getting clogged up with millions of the same sites all saying the same thing.

How about another reason?

You meet someone at the club or at a social gathering. You get talking and ask them about themselves. The conversation comes round to what you do. You casually say “I work at home in my own Internet business”. Your acquaintance pricks up their ears and you give them a brief run down on your business and the money you or people you know are making. You reach into your pocket for a card… uh oh… no card. “No worries” you say. “Just go to this URL http://www.mysuperhomebiz.com/?541028.005/business/quick/start.html “

Your new found friend… well his eyes glaze over and he thinks “Is this guy for real?”

Any chance you may have had of getting him to look at your business evaporated by the time you got to the .com part of your affiliate website URL! That’s if you were able to even remember the URL in the first place. You just lost a prospect!

However if you were to say “Have a look at www.hallgold.com “ You can be almost certain if the name was simple like this and reflected your own name then there would be a good chance it would be remembered and looked at.

Want another reason?

By promoting your own domain name you decrease the risk of being accused of spam. Spam is the sending of unsolicited commercial email. Generally spammers send illegal bulk email out to perhaps millions of people. They, the spam perpetrators, cover themselves by not having remove pathways and non-existent email addresses.

If you accidentally sent an email to someone with an affiliate URL on it and they accused you of spam the consequences can be catastrophic for your business. With your own URL and domain name it becomes much more difficult for the complainant to lodge a complaint except directly back to you. Now I am not saying go out and spam people with your URL. I am just saying it adds a considerable degree of protection if you make a mistake at anytime. It protects you somewhat from the zealots who take delight in closing unwary people down and forcing the ISP to dump them and losing your business into the bargain. You may even be sued by an angry ISP if they incur downtime caused by any spamming you inadvertently or deliberately do.

Believe me there is a real problem out there for the unwary. Don't ever use your SFI URL in any email unless you are 100% sure the recipient is agreeable to receiving your email!
