THE FAST START PROGRAM

Introduction

The very best way you can start your new Organic Natural Enterprise business is to take advantage of the ONE Group offer of automatic promotion through as a Senior Associate by ordering a Fast Start or Super Fast Start Order. A Fast Start Order is any order over 300PV. A Super Fast Start is any Order over 600PV.(Refer to the “Marketing Plan” in the member’s area of your replicated ONE Group website for an explanation of PV)

If you teach the Fast Start approach to your team it will create a lot of momentum and growth in your organization. It is THE RECOMMENDED APPROACH for anyone interested in the Business Opportunity who desires a permanent residual income in the future from their own marketing organization.

If you initially registered as a Lifestyle Member, this has enabled you to purchase some of the products and satisfy yourself as to their efficacy and pureness. Perhaps you have tried them, not only on yourself, but you have asked friends and family to try them too. This period should also have allowed you plenty of time to look thoroughly into the Business Opportunity.

Follow these steps to become a Representative if you aren’t already one

  1. Contact your sponsor by email or phone and let them know you want to get started.

  2. Key in your sponsor's ONE Group website URL into your browser window. For instance key in www.yoursponsorusername.mionegroup.com     (Make sure your sponsor “username” is in the first part of the URL when you register otherwise you may end up being sponsored by someone you don’t want to be sponsored by.)

  3. Follow the instructions to register as a Representative of ONE Group and pay the requested fee to become a Rep

  4. Tick the Business Protection (BP) option. This will ensure you are eligible for the full 20 to 30% when you place smaller orders. (See the Marketing Plan)

  5. Place an order over 300PV minimum to qualify as a Senior Associate, as outlined under the Fast Start program.

  6. Order appropriate marketing materials from the company at the same time as your Fast Start order to save on freight. A minimum sample would be ten of each of the various leaflets and brochures. Ask your sponsor what is available in your country.

Once you have placed your order you need to plan what you are going to do from that point on.  

It’s a good idea to use what is available within the member’s area of your own website to learn from. Many of the documents are in PDF format and are able to be downloaded onto the hard drive of your computer. For easier reading, and to remind you of what is available through your own website, why don’t you make up a folder where you can keep all the printed copies of the documents in? I find this is an excellent way to be able to easily see what all the various documents are and how they should be used and to be able to demonstrate the various items to others on a one to one level.

The PDF presentation of the Business Opportunity/Company Overview makes an excellent print-out to be able to give to others in a presentation folder for them to read through. It’s a professional document and does an excellent job of presenting the business to people who are unfamiliar with Network Marketing. You will find this is an easy way to explain about the business and perhaps interest your friends and others in your Organic Business. If you can’t find this document in the member’s area of your ONE Group website then please make sure you ask your sponsor to email it to you.

Make sure if you have any questions at all about the correct procedure for starting on the Fast Start program you get back to YOUR SPONSOR and ask them for advice. It’s far easier to start the right way - rather than make mistakes and teach others in your downline the same mistakes you have made.

 

Maximizing the benefits of Fast Start

If you have read through the Marketing Plan thoroughly you will have seen by starting with your own Fast Start business order you have the opportunity to interest three others in your first 30 days to do the same as you and you will be automatically grandfathered through to the important Manager level. This is the first real leadership position on the qualification ladder and should be your first major goal to achieve.

Manager is a really worthwhile goal for you to strive for. The rewards for you are quite substantial in more ways than one.

  • It’s good for people you sponsor to see you are a leader and reaching this first very important rung on the leadership ladder.

  • You will be paid a share of the Business Builder Pool for every block of three people you bring through under this scheme in a CALENDAR MONTH.

  • You are automatically qualified at the Manager position for six months if you find three Reps to go Fast Start in your FIRST 30 DAYS. This allows you ample time to build your Group Volume up sufficiently to maintain the Manager level and onto the next step of Executive and the Leadership Bonuses.

  •  You will be paid 25% of the BV of each Fast Start order placed by the people you have personally sponsored as well as 30% of the retail value of orders placed by casual shoppers you have directed to ONE Group

  • You will also be automatically qualified to receive bigger bonuses over more people in your organization. (Refer to the Compensation Plan)

Important – If you have started with a Fast Start Pack you are eligible to receive the enhanced Fast Start Bonuses for the first 90 days that you are in the business from the day you join with your own Fast Start Pack.

This is how the Fast Start Program works.

You join with a Fast Start Pack at or near the end or start of the month and when you sponsor someone that also starts with a Fast Start Pack you will be paid $75 for introducing them.

But there is a lot more to the Fast Start Program.

If you sponsor THREE Fast Starts within in a calendar month and within your first 90 days of joining, you will paid $75 for person one, plus $75 for person two, for person three however, the company will reward you for your efforts by giving you an extra $220 for person three. Making a combined total of $370 in Fast Start Bonuses for introducing just three people in a calendar month. If you find three people to join each calendar month for the first 90 day period that the Fast Start program is applicable for, you could easily earn over a thousand dollars in Fast Start Bonuses alone.

If you teach the same method to your team, the growth of your group will be explosive.

Just a word of warning, if you make the mistake of starting at the middle of the month on your Fast Start plan, you are effectively halving the time you have to find three others who also go “Fast Start” in your first calendar month. It could be a costly mistake so make sure you ask your sponsor for advice on the best timing for you to start!

Even if you know Network Marketing inside out, yet haven’t read Don’s book, you should read it. Don and wife Nancy are highly successful networkers and such lovely people. What you will learn from this one book alone could completely change your life.

Reading books written by highly successful networkers will broaden your understanding of networking and what makes networking such a powerful marketing force. You will be laying the foundations of your own success by learning as much as you can and your future with ONE Group will be assured.

To give you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the concepts of Networking and Internet Marketing that are covered in this Getting Started report (and various training reports we have on the web), I would like to present to you an overview of how YOU can make your business - work for YOU - in several different ways. Let me ask you - Why Are You Here?

If you want to change your life for the better, you need to have a plan. Do this simple exercise!  Get some paper and write down the following questions.

  • What do I want to have?

  • Where do I want to go?

  • What do I want to become?

  • What would I like to share?

Think carefully about the questions and answer honestly. It is only you that knows the truth about what you want in life - put down as much detail as you can. You want a new home? Where? What does it look, feel or smell like? Who’s in it with you? How big is the garden? You want to travel? Where do you want to go? For how long? What do you think it’ll be like there and what will you be doing? You want to be a leader? A great parent or friend? Popular? What does it involve? How will you know when you’re there? And what would you like to give and to whom? What would you like to share and with whom? How?

Be selfish in your answers. Remember this is YOUR plan to change YOUR life. Of course it will have an effect on others that are close to you. However, YOU are the one who is going to do the work and it will be YOUR goals and YOUR desires that will provide the motivation. It is ONLY YOU who can make a success of YOUR ONE Group organic business by helping others to become like you.

NO-ONE ELSE CAN BUILD YOUR BUSINESS FOR YOU!

The more detail you put down, the more certain you can be that you know exactly what your desires are and how you will feel when you have attained them. They need to be real and tangible desires so they’re a better motivation for you. If you want to be successful yet you don’t know what that will feel like - how will you know when you are successful?

So - make that dream list! It’ll take at least 30 minutes to do properly and you may want to take a lot longer. This is time well spent. Absolutely! I can’t help to notice that the people who fail to plan invariably never achieve success. Most of us don’t plan to fail; however, few of us actually plan properly to succeed! So start that planning NOW by writing down what you want to achieve.

Which suits YOU better?

 

 

Welcome back!

How did you find that? Maybe you were surprised by some of what came out. If you weren’t, either you already have a very clear idea of your life goals or you may need to have another go. Remember: this exercise is entirely for YOU. There’s no one else to impress; there’s no one looking over your shoulder. They’re YOUR goals, no-one else’s; so if you find yourself with a goal you don’t like, throw it out! If you get this right and find out what it is you really want, you have opened the road map to success at the right page.

Take a look at your list. Allocate to each of your desires a time period in which you can realistically achieve it. Useful time scales are 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years and even 15 or 20 years. (You may want to bring in other intermediate time frames too).

Once you have a precisely defined desire, you can scale a time to fit it. In effect you’ve created a real goal. So now write 2 or 3 sentences about why each of these goals is important to you. When this takes the form you want it to (take the time to get it as authentic as you can), you might like to put a version of it in the front of your business diary or on the desktop of your computer so you can readily refer to it at anytime. This enables you to see repeatedly why (really why) you are making each contact on the internet and each phone call or appointment you set up to see people. Why you are doing each of the repetitive day-to-day things you will need to do to make YOUR business successful. It also lets you see when you have achieved the goals you wished for and gives you a constant opportunity to re-evaluate and reconsider your goals and reset the time needed to achieve what you want to achieve in a given period.

The difference in people’s abilities to fully tap their personal resources is directly affected by their goals. A study of the 1953 graduates of Yale University clearly demonstrates this point. The graduates interviewed were asked if they had a clear, specific set of goals written down with a plan for achieving those goals. Only 3 percent had such written goals.

Twenty years later, in 1973, the researchers went back and interviewed the surviving members of the 1953 graduating class. They discovered that the 3 percent with written specific goals were worth more in financial terms than the entire other 97 percent put together.

Obviously, this study measures only people’s financial development. However, the interviewers also discovered that the less measurable or more subjective measures, such as the level of happiness and joy that the graduates felt, also seemed to be superior in the 3 percent with written goals. This is the power of goal setting. Without goal setting most people get nowhere.

 

Getting Organised

Priority! Do this NOW.

It would be very frustrating to get to the end of this Fast Start Manual all fired up, launch into your first lot of people to contact and find that you haven’t got necessary programs on your computer or an appropriate desk diary.

The Work Space

If you’ve got an office already or a quiet space away from distractions and noise, that’s wonderful. But many a successful business has started from the breakfast table, nonetheless! If you are able to claim an area you can call your own, then this is the ideal situation as you will need plenty of quiet time to learn and put into practice what we are about to teach you.

Equipment

It goes without saying you need a telephone or perhaps use Skype! You can hardly build a network business which relies on contact with others if you don’t have a telephone or a Skype service. Also you need a computer with connection to the Internet or at the very least. This is an Internet based business and honestly, you can’t run it if you haven’t got a computer or one of the latest type IPhones or IPads! Network Marketing has moved to the Internet and in this day and age, well, if you aren’t computer literate then you may as well forget about successful Networking now! I would suggest that if you don't already have Skype on your computer, you should download it and become familiar with its use. It is a very valuable tool for networkers as it allows you to do three way calls and even conference calls with up to 25 people. All of it free if the other people have Skype too.

Diary and/or a planner program on your computer.

This will allow you to keep track of your appointments and the follow-ups you must attend to.

Files

You don’t need a filing cabinet but you do need to keep records. A card index is a great way to keep manual records so you have an easy way of following people up. Many people now run paperless offices and have everything filed on their computer. If you are up to speed with your computer then this is by far the best way to set your business centre up.

If you want a hard copy then create a card for every person you contact and jot down some brief notes about them so it is there for ready reference in future. I would suggest it’s also useful to make an entry with your own name on it and take notes about various conversations with your sponsor or upline which may be beneficial to you in the future.

Time Management

Richard Branson has 24 hours in a day; Warren Buffet has 24 hours in a day; President Obama has 24 hours in a day; Donald Trump has 24 hours per day!

We all have 24 hours in a day – and so do YOU. Importantly it’s what you do with the available hours that count! You need to decide now how much time you want to commit each week or day to working on your own personal development and to building a successful Network Marketing Business. This is the groundwork YOU MUST DO before you start building your residual income. If you go about this correctly your residual income will always grow exponentially as you continue to sponsor people into your business and train your team to do the same. You should be aiming at making yourself redundant in your own Marketing Organization!

(Note: Make sure you read Don Failla’s book and learn how to use the “45 Second Presentation” to introduce just five people and then teach them how to introduce five people each! Spread that down over several layers in your team and you have the start of a very powerful duplicating Network Organisation. Once you have duplication occurring in your team, sponsor another five personally and place them into the Retirement Tree so you are qualified to reach the higher ranks as outlined in the Compensation Plan)

Allocating Time

Look at the pages in your diary and decide what time you are going to allocate to building your business: which days, what hours – now mark these in your diary. Block out chunks in your diary for the next month or 6 weeks. Think about how to maximize the returns on your efforts. If your main contacts are going to be family members and friends who work, it’s no good setting time aside in the mornings to contact them.

Write down the dates and times of various training calls and conference calls the company have. If live training meetings have been established it’s important to make a concerted effort to get along to them. Training meetings are places where you can rub shoulders with some of the very successful people in this industry and learn from them.

You should plan to attend meetings regularly if they are available within easy striking distance of where you live. Remember, this is YOUR future we are talking about here – no-one else’s! As ONE Group expands into new markets you will probably find entrepreneurial Representatives will establish meetings in various localities not that far way from you. (You may be one of those entrepreneurial Reps!)

If you haven’t the benefit of training meetings nearby - think very seriously about establishing meetings yourself in your area. This way you will be recognised as a leader and people will want to follow you.

It’s best to have the venues, dates and times readily to hand, as regards meetings and conference calls rather than having to call someone back.

Remember to book yourself a time to review how it’s going and speak regularly with your Sponsor so you can review your progress. Look at whether you want to add in a few hours or adjust how you are spending your time. It’s very easy to spend countless hours on the Internet and not achieve anything at all. This is a very common mistake most people make when they first start using the Internet to market their business. Maybe you find you can make a lot more progress simply by writing down what you need to achieve each day. If you set a goal of asking 20 people per day if they are interested in using 100% synthetic-chemical-free products and you found one person who responded then this is a good start.

Whatever you do you must set a realistic level of work and stick at it until you have completed your task.

After your first week you would want to review how you are going. What have you achieved? How many people have you contacted? What can you do to improve on the response you are getting? How many times have I been in contact with my sponsor?

There is a popular but very true saying in Networking.

 No action = No results

A little action = few if any results                 

Massive action = MASSIVE RESULTS!

How are you going to make the most of YOUR time? A little later in this section we will recommend some weekly targets that may help you use this time more effectively and monitor your performance.

 

Gathering Customers and Distributors

Who do I ask? What do I do?

I’m going to start with the traditional approach to networking. A lot of people become involved with Internet Marketing because they think it is a simple way to build a network business. Well, hmmm, yes it can be - but you still need plenty of networking skills to make it work effectively on the Internet and you may waste 12 months of time trying to learn what does and doesn't work.

If you think you can sit behind a computer and remain completely anonymous without dealing with anyone on a personal level, then sorry, there is little chance you will succeed.   I strongly suggest you take the traditional networking route first. Get a piece of paper and write on it the names of everybody you know. This would be your starting list of potential Customers and Distributors. I use the term Customers loosely here as all you would be doing would be to tell them how they can buy safe Certified Organic Skincare and Healthcare products made to FOOD GRADE standards online through YOUR own replicated website.

There is no need for you to sell any products if you don’t want to. Simply refer people to your own replicated website supplied by the company so they can buy directly from ONE Group at full retail price or they may opt to become Lifestyle Members by purchasing over $150 worth of product in any one order and receiving a 20% discount off the retail.

When the Customer places their first order, they’re issued with a PC code which means they will remain your Customer when returning to order again and enter their email address into the mionegroup.com website. As their Sponsor you will be paid a commission which varies on whether the Customer has remained as a Personal Customer (PC) or has ordered sufficient product ($150) to be a "Lifestyle Member"

The minimum you will receive is 5% of the Customers order, plus a Sponsor Bonus which is based on the BV of the products the Customer purchased. The BV varies from product to product so it's hard to give an exact example. For an order of say $200 placed by a Lifestyle Member, your total commission would be about $25 to $30 for making a simple recommendation to a friend or acquaintance. If the Customer is not qualified as a Lifestyle Member because they have never placed an order over $150, the percentage paid to you of the customers order is greater because the Customer hasn't received the 20% Lifestyle Discount.

It's important that you realise, you haven't had to buy the products, stock the products, sell the products or deliver them. All you have done is refer someone to your personal www.yourusername.mionegroup.com website and the company has done the rest for you and paid the Customer Bonus automatically into your ONE Group bonus account when the customer's credit/debit card was charged.

The exact workings of the Customer Bonuses is difficult to describe and you may have to ask your sponsor for examples of what they have been paid on their customers.

Of course if you wish to, you can buy the products at 40% discount from ONE Group and proceed to sell them at full retail price using Direct Selling methods via Party Plan or simply by word mouth to friends or family who buy directly from you instead of going through the company website.

 

 Now lets start building that list.

Think about people who fall into the following groups:

  • People you already know well: Your friends and family, neighbours, colleagues.

  • People from your past: Old friends, colleagues and school or college peers; ex-employees or employers; friends you made on holiday; the people who came to your wedding or big family parties.

  • People you know socially: People who go to the same pubs, clubs, parties as you; those you know through voluntary or community work, the religious or political group you are involved with; people in your sports club, drama group or choral society.

  • People you know through your hobbies or interests: Those you play golf or squash with, have met through summer schools or special interest holidays; people you know through evening classes or the Open University; fellow musicians, actors, collectors, artists, games enthusiasts.

  • People who provide you with services: Your local shops and trades-people, plumbers, electricians, painters and decorators; your local estate agents, insurance brokers or financial advisers; the hairdresser, gardener, the garage; your local healthcare services; your favourite restaurant.

  • People you know through your children: Their parents, teachers, PTA, the school governors, the youth group and its leaders, their sports coaches or special interest leaders.

You may be amazed at how many people come to mind – and how remembering each of those recalls even more to mind

 

Your first goal is to become a Senior Associate

The simplest way to do this of course is to start by buying a Fast Start Pack from the company as outlined at the start of this document. This automatically qualifies you for the Senior Associate position and three compressed levels of payments in the Fast Start bonuses. (You need to refer to the Marketing Plan for an explanation of how this works and the percentage of bonuses paid out on the various levels. If you haven’t seen the Marketing Plan, download it from the member’s area of your website).

It makes good sense to purchase a Fast Start pack for 300pv to attain this first important level. You can also get through to the Senior Associate position by personally sponsoring two Associates and helping them find others. As long as you achieve 500 Group Volume points (GV) and 100 GV minimum in each leg, then you will achieve Senior Associate like this too. (Refer to the Marketing Plan)

Whichever way you want to do it, achieving the Senior Associate position should be your initial and the MOST IMPORTANT GOAL when you first start. You really need to speak to your sponsor about the Fast Start program so you have a proper and full understanding of the benefits to you if you are feeling a little lost at this stage.

NOTE: - If you are an experienced networker or already have lots of contacts who may be interested in the business, keep in mind the incredible Fast Start Bonuses you can earn as outlined above in this document.

 

Important note about website “Username”

It is important at this stage to make sure you can advise people who are considering signing up in your downline as Representatives about the username they choose for their website. Many people don’t think carefully about this and it can create a lot of confusion. Not only for themselves but for other people they direct to their website.

When you signed on to become an Associate you found a username that was easy to spell - easy to read - easy to pronounce - easily remembered and preferably meant something – didn’t you? If you didn’t then you may have future problems with people not keying it in right or simply forgetting and then doing a web search on say “one group organics” or "Miessence" and finding someone else’s site to sign on through or to buy products through. A simple error, like this, of not picking an easily spelt and pronounced name could cost you dearly in the future.  You have only one shot at getting the username right so do it right the first time

 

Getting started with the Contact List

Develop relationships

Now despite the fact this is an Internet driven business it’s still about developing relationships and trust with people. It’s all about personal recommendations and educating people about the dangers, the general population is exposed to, with the myriad of synthetic chemicals in our diets and personal care products and in the environment. Independent third party Certified Organic is THE ONLY way anyone can be 100% certain that the ingredients for the products are grown and produced and manufactured without the use of ANY toxic synthetic chemicals and there are NO pesticide residues contained in the ingredients.

So with this in mind, the people you are closest to – your loved ones – are the people you should first tell about the problems with toxic synthetic chemicals. There’s an ever increasing awareness to the problem but there is nothing like a personal recommendation or story from someone who is trusted and respected to focus attention on something as important as chemical toxicity and food intolerances caused by chemical sensitivities.

Make sure you visit the www.ewg.org website and specifically this page http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ which has been set up by the Environmental Working Group to get the information out about chemicals and the damage they are doing to the general population.

You may want to get specific information off the Internet by using the Google search engine.

For instance if you were to key say “paraben toxicity” into the Google search you would be presented with a list of sites to visit, which will give you all the info you need to make an informed decision about whether this ubiquitous chemical preservative causes cancer. Try keying in the ingredients one by one from a typical bottle of shampoo or skin care cream, with the word toxicity after the ingredient into Google. You just may be shocked at what comes up!

Print some of the reports out and hand them out to people. (All I ask is that the reports are kept intact with copyright reference to the author’s website if this is mentioned on the site) That is what the websites are there for. To educate people!

 Tell your friends!

Start telling your friends and relations about the wonderful safe synthetic chemical free Certified Organic skin care and health care products you have been buying online at 30% discount. Tell them about the results you are getting – maybe how you no longer have eczema or mouth ulcers or dandruff or perhaps you have used the probiotic formula and have had wonderful results with that or the Berry Radical formula has helped with your arthritis or given you more energy. Rest assured the ONE Group products do give results and you will find subtle benefits immediately in all sorts of ways when you start using them - just like so many people already have. Whatever the benefit is that you or your loved ones have experienced, make sure you tell others! This is a VERY POWERFUL WAY to start your business. Make no mistake about it. People like to hear true stories as they can relate to them.

Don’t prejudge

If you fail to tell other people you know, then sooner or later someone else will and you may find that a close friend suddenly pitches you about these wonderful Certified Organic products they have just started buying online and the “new” business they are into. Through inaction, you could miss out on some very valuable members in your team. Even if they are just Customers or Lifestyle Members they will still be a valuable asset to you in the long run, as many of your customers will tell others how to get the products at genuine discount rates via the Internet instead of buying inferior products with chemicals in them through a retailer which they will pay full price for.

So work through your list. Simply put the names in a notebook or on your file cards and mark each according to how well you know that person (you’ll probably want to talk to the people you’re closest to first). There is no need to be too over the top. It’s simple to bring things up in the normal conversation without having an agenda. After all, hardly a day passes when we aren’t reminded in some way of the problems with chemicals, drugs and ill health on the news!

I would suggest it is a good idea to draw up a book, or buy a book that you can enter all the names in and place notes beside them as you approach the people on your list. You know, it may be as simple as enquiring after your good friend’s mother who has recently been hospitalized or has been poorly lately, and simply steering the conversation onto a topical health subject. After all everyone likes to talk about themselves when it comes to their own aches and pains.

To get you thinking along these lines until you start to think it automatically, why not use this list to write down the names of the first few people you want to talk with about the ONE Group Opportunity and about the organic products.  You can use the broad headings and the examples given on the previous page to get your thoughts ticking over.

Of course you will know far more than just 20 people! Most people have a warm inner circle of at least 200 people they know. Then once you really start thinking hard of people you know by their first name you will find your list will extend to many hundreds more.

Prioritizing your Contacts – Beware!

Clearly, there are many reasons why someone might be an ideal customer for the Certified Organic products or to become an Associate. They might have family members who suffer badly with skin complaints or mouth ulcers or IBS for instance. Think of the number of people who suffer with psoriasis and colitis and arthritis and IBS and... and... and... infinitum! Many of the autoimmune problems people experience stem from chemicals and inadequate nutrition. So you are easily able to help them by educating them to the dangers of chemicals and the dangers of improper nutrition.

There are plenty of reports all over the web about probiotics. Try the Google search engine again with say “probiotics beneficial bacteria”. You will find loads of useful information which can be printed off. Of course we have a very good probiotic product supplied by ONE Group called InLiven, which is a whole food full of 12 different live essential bacteria and phytonutrients in predigested form. This is a very significant health product in its own right and you should learn all there is to know about it. That means being a user and a believer in this product as well as using as many of the other products as you can reasonably afford!

Do another Google search on "benefits of antioxidants to health" There is no end of information, all of it positive as regards boosting the levels of antioxidants in your diet. Of course, the ONE Group, Berry Radical SuperFood is perhaps the most potent antioxidant per serve of any product on the market. Just look at the Berry Radical fact sheet in the back office of the website to see the difference when it is compared to other popular brands of antioxidants available.

When you really think about it - there are just so many people who would really appreciate the chance to make a difference in their own lives – not only health wise but also financially. I know when I was first offered this opportunity to use pure products, free of ALL synthetic chemicals and then I looked more closely at the opportunity – realized that this was without any doubt, the very best opportunity I had ever seen! I see it as a vehicle I can use to help ever more people understand the problems we are all facing in this toxic world, whilst earning a comfortable living helping others.

Being paid handsomely to help educate people about synthetic chemicals and the alternatives to using them has made this business extremely rewarding in more ways than just the monetary aspect of it for me. I hope you realise just how important these products and this business is for YOU and YOUR loved ones too.

I hope you too have the same good feeling about organics and where the world needs to go. If you do and if you are truly passionate about the just and worthwhile cause we are promoting, then you will go on to be more successful than you ever dreamt possible.

Don’t pre-select

I suggest to you, it is important to not limit yourself by pre-selecting people that you think would be the best to approach. Sure, approach people you know well first, but keep working through your list and giving everyone the opportunity to use the products and perhaps become involved in the business.

Don’t be too surprised if a “sure prospect” has their own reasons for not believing what you tell them or show them. That is their prerogative. After all, there still is a large number of people out there that think chemicals on their skin and in their diet are actually safe, and worse in some instances, actually good for them in some way????!!!!!! I feel sorry for them - but then again, you can’t help everyone. By the time they get cancer or some other degenerative disease, it will be too late to help them most probably anyway.

Don’t rule people out simply because you don’t know enough about them. For all you know they may have been trying to find chemical free products for ages. Or better, they may need to make more income and want to use synthetic chemical free products at the same time! If you know someone well and you can see how they’d benefit from what you have to offer them, they’re a pretty ‘hot’ prospect and probably the best place to start.

Now Set your Targets

Now you have the names, set yourself the following weekly targets:

  • The number of people you are going to talk to about Certified Organic products

  • The number of new Preferred Customers you are going to gather

  • The number of people you are going to refer to your website to look at the business opportunity.

  • The number of new Representatives you are going to sponsor into ONE Group

Write these targets down in your diary and at the end of each week see how you have done compared with your target. Keep records of, for example: the number of people you presented with articles on health and the dangers of chemicals – who have actually become Preferred Customers; the number of people you said you would talk to compared with the number that you actually spoke to; the number of people who asked to hear more after an initial approach by phone or in person. By doing this you will be able to see how you improve as your experience grows and it will also help you spot which activities produce the best results and concentrate your efforts in future

As you get more experienced, you should set yourself more specific targets.

For example: How many new Customers you are going to introduce to the products? And/or how many new Representatives are you going to sponsor each month. Which of your new Representatives is showing promise and how you are going to assist them to get through to the next level of Manager and beyond to Executive level?

Setting targets

Targets are extremely important. They are your markers to measure yourself by and your stepping stones to achieving your goals. Do not start any day without having at least one target to achieve. If you do this every day, you will quickly see your business and income grow – and each day will bring you one step closer to achieving your goals. The new car, the new house, more time with your family, better schools for your children or grandchildren, that world cruise. Perhaps it may be as simple as being able to comfortably afford to buy organic food and products for your entire family, regularly every week.

Be SMART about the goals you write. It’s easy to have big dreams and big ideas – anyone can have those. True achievers know precisely what they want and how they plan to achieve that. They have SMART goals.

A SMART goal is

  • Specific: you know exactly what you need to do to achieve

  • Measurable: you will be able to tell when you reach it

  • Achievable: the target can be achieved in the time set

  • Relevant: it relates to the building of your business and income

  • Time-limited: it has a deadline by which you are going to achieve it

 As you review your daily and weekly business targets and your longer term goals, see how SMART they are – and whether you can improve on them at all.

Before You Start

Before you hype yourself up and start talking to your first potential Preferred Customer or Representative, take a minute to evaluate how you feel. This is not a race, nor is it a competition of any sort. You need to relax because people will pick up on you if they feel you are “pitching” them in some way. As I said earlier, it is very easy to introduce the subject of health into any normal conversation without any agenda attached to it.

If you feel the person you are talking to, has a genuine interest in Certified Organics and is a potential business prospect – by all means tell them a little about your business venture. You can always gauge the level of interest as to whether you take it further with them. Take a couple of minutes to imagine how you hope the conversation will go. What will you say? How will they react? How will you feel? How will they feel? And what will be the outcome?

Now take a minute or two to reflect on what will happen if your hottest prospect, the person you were relying on to love the concept of organics and want to use the products, says no, they aren’t interested!  So what?

You simply can’t - even with the best of intentions help everyone!

Think of yourself as a waiter offering after dinner coffee in a restaurant.

If someone says ‘No’ it’s simply because they don’t fancy coffee at that moment. It’s not a reflection on the waiter or the coffee. So don’t be disheartened by a negative response: remember you’re offering coffee, not battling for your first love! Grin. And your friends will certainly respect you for respecting their answers. Just remember to ask whether they can think of anyone they know who might be interested in using the Certified Organic products or starting a home based business on the Internet. They almost certainly will be able to think of someone and that will leave you both feeling good.

 The talking too much trap

As you get more experience with talking to people about health issues, it will become second nature to automatically be thinking along these lines when social interaction takes place. There is no need to be pushy or persistent. It’s much nicer if you are able to remain friends with your friends, rather than have them put off you by constantly harping on when they don’t want to hear about health issues. It is a trap many new networkers often fall into! They keep on talking even though their friends don’t want to hear it.  

You know what? Questions are the answers! Spend more time talking about them!

By all means approach your friends and relatives but for goodness sake don’t alienate them as some over-exuberant new networkers tend to do. Just move on to the next person you can talk to if your friends aren’t interested. You will find many simple techniques you can employ to test the waters with people before really pitching in.

KISS your contacts! Literally!

That is, - Keep It Short and Simple! (Or - Keep It Simple Stupid!)

It is time to decide on the first 10 people you would like to introduce to the Certified Organic products and/or the ONE Group Business Opportunity. Have your diary and pen to hand to book appointments with each one who is interested. Don’t get dragged into trying to explain all about the business or products over the phone. It seldom works! It’s much more convincing when you are face to face.  You’ll sound like an answering service or message bank, fielding all their questions if you try to do it on the phone! Remember, the point of this conversation is simply to discover whether or not this person might be interested in starting their own Home Based Business in the fast growing Certified Organic market or simply in using the natural organic products.

Use your sponsor

If your sponsor lives nearby, you may want to consider inviting people around to your house for a presentation by your sponsor or an upline person who can do an in house presentation. They can explain the Plan and why the Certified Organic market is growing faster than just about any other market and the enormous opportunity for ordinary people to tap into it. That way you get to be in a relatively relaxed situation which you can learn from and it also lets your business prospects see the level of support you have and importantly the level of support they will have too - if they join you in your business.

Everyone gets on the job training so to speak.

Here are a few openers for when you just can’t think what to say:

“I’ve started an Internet business from home promoting Certified Organic products. I would be interested in your advice if you could look at it for me?”

"I’ve just got involved with this company that supplies 100% synthetic-chemical-FREE skin care and health care products which are made to FOOD GRADE standards. I was wondering, would you be interested in more information about the products and perhaps in the business opportunity? The products are absolutely brilliant! Have a look at my website... I would value your opinion”

When talking to people you know well, it is often a really good idea to ask them for their opinion of your new business by taking a few minutes to go through your website. This way they feel they're doing you a favour by looking at it for you. Then you can ask them for any advice they have to help you get started. You will be surprised how this reverse approach can work exceptionally well for you and the person you have asked for advice then becomes very interested in the income opportunity they have looked into.

I can’t tell you what to say. You have to be yourself. However, if you don’t ask you don’t get! The worst someone will say is - no they don’t want a home business. Then you can ask them if they might like to try the products. One way or another they could well be interested. There is fine line to between selling and encouraging someone to ask for more information. If they think you are selling something to them they may back off!

Be proud of your work

You need to be proud of what you are doing. After all educating people about the dangers toxic chemicals pose to everyone’s health, is a very worthwhile and good cause. If you can get others to join you in your mission then you are well and truly on the right track. So don’t mumble in your beard and make this a secret men’s (or women’s) business! Important things like health issues are easily talked about. Take a stand and tell them what you think is causing metabolic illness and ask them for their input. People love giving opinions. Remember – questions are the answers!

Be excited

You have found this great new business! People are falling over themselves to get the products! So many people are joining the organic health revolution! Be really excited! This is an exciting business due to the intrinsic growth of the organic industry and the solid growth of the company.

 

The Appointment

Here are some pointers to making the most of the appointments you make:

  1. Treat the other person with respect.

  2. Turn up on time in a clean car if you drive.

  3. Dress well. It needn’t be a suit, but you should look clean tidy and professional.

  4. Listen! The key to a good presentation is listening to your prospective customer and/or Representative. You will hear information and questions that help you present the business opportunity and the products in way they can relate to. Put the other person at ease by showing an interest in them.

  5. Have fun and be enthusiastic. Do your best to enjoy the time you spend with your contact.

  6. Explain the benefits of being synthetic chemical free.

  7. Be honest. ONE Group’s products are without equal any where in the world. No other company has the coveted third party Certified Organic status which ONE Group, at this point in time has, and is legally allowed to display the USDA Organic and ACO logos. Let the facts speak for themselves and do not exaggerate any of the benefits. You don’t need to hype anything up at all. Let the other people trying to build the same old tired home businesses based on hype do that.

  8. Don’t try to bluff your way past something. If you don’t know the answer simply admit it and find out for them. Make sure you do follow up.

  9. Don’t make fun of their questions or concerns.

  10. Finish on time. Don’t take more time than you said you would.

  11. Leave them with material on toxic chemical health issues that you will call back for.

When you arrive, you’ll probably be offered a cup of tea or coffee. Always accept! It gives you time to have a brief look around the room and discover something about what this person is like (that’s if you don’t already know them well). Then you can ask appropriate questions and build a rapport with your host. You will also find indications about their family, occupation, recreational habits and financial situation, all of which are relevant as you help them see how starting a ONE Group Internet Based Business or perhaps Direct Selling the products could be very beneficial to them.

If your prospective customer has a business, say an organic shop or a health food store or whatever, show an interest in what they are doing and ask them questions about their business or what the person does. As you progress you will find questions are the answers. Find out how they work: Do they have to travel a lot? Do they have spare time to spend with family? Are they looking for a rewarding career or simply a way of making a bit extra each month?

You will get a feel of how things are progressing over the initial cup of coffee/tea. This is the all important, building rapport part of your presentation. It is a time to put both yourself and them at ease.

The Presentation

All presentations tend to be most effective where people are shown the Certified Organic product range first and a brief explanation of the very involved process of achieving full Organic Certification. Make sure you have a complete range of products to show them and the company literature with the Organic Certification copies in it. This is where it is vital you have first hand knowledge of the products. That means you and your family use them and you know exactly what benefit they have been to you and other family members. Don’t become too technical. People are turned off by facts and figures. If you get too in depth and technical you will lose their interest.

Stories sell

Stories sell! Facts and figures tell! So become emotive about the products and the issues surrounding chemicals in everyday over the counter products and the impact they have on our health. You are on a mission to not only build a home business but also to help as many people as possible become aware of the wonderful safe alternatives to the alphabet chemical soup which virtually all other personal care products are made from. Aren’t you?

Take along all the products you are using and let them smell them and rub the skin cream on etc. There is nothing quite like a hands on approach when explaining the benefits of pure natural products like these. – You’ll find that people can’t resist picking them up and asking you about them.

You don’t have to know every detail about each and everyone of the products. As long as you are using all the products you can and no longer have any of the chemical based alphabet soups you used to use in the house, then you will have a very good understanding of them.

You should read through all the PDF files and the training on your www.username.mionegroup.com website in the member’s area. Print the training and reports out for future reference. In fact the PDF files are an excellent way to give very presentable fact sheets to people so they have something to read when you have gone.

If you don’t know the basics of the products and how to present the business opportunity, you will miss a lot of opportunities to gather new Customers from chance encounters.

Your first appointments are likely to be with people who know you very well. The advantage is that you should be more relaxed and they may be more encouraging to you. A possible disadvantage is that you will be less free to ‘go into role’, and your friends or family may be surprised to see you in a different context; they may also want to chat about issues that aren’t relevant to the presentation. An easy way to overcome irrelevant chit chat is to ask them to help you out by listening very carefully to your presentation of the products and/or the business opportunity, so they can give you constructive feedback and advice on how it could be done better. People just love being asked for advice, so ask them before you start because you want them to help by advising you. This simple approach will help limit the distractions that often break the rhythm of a first time presentation.

A great way to do your first appointments is to let your Sponsor do them for you! This gives you training, boosts the authority of the presentation among people who know you well, and allows you time to clarify any points or methods with your Sponsor after the presentation. But go ahead anyway if your Sponsor is unavailable or lives far away – you’re obviously resourceful or you wouldn’t have joined the Organic Natural Enterprise Group in the first place!

 

Possible Outcomes

1.  Undecided

It’s good if you can get a decision from your prospect there and then. However, it is not essential. Often the seeds are sown and if you leave them with pertinent information and literature about the products then they will more than likely want to start using the products anyway.

To help convince them, leave them a couple of the scientific reports by the Environmental Working Group. Go to the www.ewg.org website and find some of the reports on their website about skin “care” products. If they don’t see the enormous problem of toxic chemical bio-magnification and the collective damage that is being done after reading all the information you leave with them - then they never will! You can lead a horse to water but you can’t force them to drink it! (Just move on to a more compliant horse... Grin!)

A good idea is to have all the reports and information in a presentation folder. You can also keep an eye open for newspaper clippings or search the Internet for articles on chemicals. The BBC is a good place to find many of these news stories from the past. Print them out and add them to the folder. Make several of these folders and leave the complete folder with your prospect. This way you have a reason to call them back and ask them what they thought of it all. If they haven’t looked through the folder when you call back, ask them when they will do so as you have someone else that wants to look at it! Sometimes you need to put a bit of posture on people in a nice way.

 

2.  Wants to start now

Many people will see the advantage to switching over to the ONE Group products and want to do so immediately and become Associates in your business. These are the people that really give you a BIG boost when networking. The best bet is to go online with their computer and sign them up through your website then and there. Show them how it all works. If you have a Laptop computer then you can have all the info on that at your finger tips. Talk to them about the benefits of going Fast Start and ordering the 300pv of product so they are qualified immediately as a Senior Associate and how they can be “grandfathered through” as Managers and on to much bigger/better bonuses.

If you have a laptop computer, it is great tool to be able to show your prospects a presentation using the DVD of the Business Opportunity and the concept of Network Marketing. It does a great job of explaining about the business and the organic industry.

If they just want to buy the products and not build a business then this is fine. You will receive a percentage of the value of the products they order and they can receive a 20% online discount for orders over $150 as a "Lifestyle member". Becoming a “Lifestyle Member” is very attractive to many people because it is free and it gives them a chance to evaluate the products properly. It’s really important to make them aware of the option of becoming a Representative so they can get the 20 to 40% and FREE shipping on orders over the 75PV mark. (refer to the Compensation Plan for the details) This way, they may like to order for their friends and qualify for the even larger discounts that Reps are entitled to. I often see customers go on to become Reps and order larger amounts of $600 or even more in my team.

You will find many people will want to start with the Business Opportunity after they have used the products for a month or two and have had brilliant results with them.

 

3.   No… I’m not interested thanks.

“OK, thanks for your time. I can appreciate that you may not be interested at this time but I would like to know what your objections are to using chemical free products.” Often people perceive the cost of organic products as being the main reason they don’t use organics on a regular basis. You can often overcome this objection before it arises by explaining the cost of health care, once the wheels start to fall off a person’s health. The cost of repairing a broken down body is far greater than maintaining it in good health. I often ask people “what value do you put on your own health?” If you can’t overcome the objection just accept you cannot help everyone and move on. Reminds me of that horse again??

 

4.   I need to think about it.

This is a difficult response to handle for many people. You are sort of left there, hanging in, but not really sure what they need to think about. Often by asking them if they want to think about using the products at discount or whether they need to think about the business opportunity, is a good way to give them an option. Either way you will get a response which may allow you to answer the objection.

Simply say “I can understand you wanting to think about it, that’s fine, but what is it you want to think about? Is it buying the products as a Preferred Customer – (which of course is no obligation on them) - or is it about starting the business opportunity?” Stop here and wait for an answer. Then once you have the objection out in the open you can counter it. Don’t make the mistake of talking too much as many people in sales do. Ask them a question and politely wait for their response.

If they’re unsure of the reasons for wanting to think about it, suggest “As it is free to become a Preferred Customer would you like me to run through the process with you while I’m here and I can show you how to operate the shopping cart? - This way you will know what to do when you do place your own order. If you decide you want the products after I leave, then you can order through my site using the same procedure.”

Most people will be happy to run through this procedure whilst you are there. Then they can make their own minds up from the material you leave them and perhaps other research they can do on the Internet. Make sure they know the URL of the www.ewg.org website and some of the other information sites like http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/campaigns/toxics/ so they can start their own learning process. Many people come to the realization that chemicals are implicated in most ill health once they have had a good look through these sites and do their own research.

I like to concentrate on educating people about the dangers of chemicals and then often you will find they make their own minds up to use Synthetic-Chemical-FREE products with little prompting from you.

 

 Plan for Success

Make sure you’re always carrying your business cards, and other marketing materials, tapes/CDs and reports etc, for those many occasions when an unplanned opportunity arises to introduce someone to ONE Group. This way, you’ll never be caught short.

Introducing others to ONE Group and the products is what your business is all about and in fact I would go as far as saying it is the lifeblood of YOUR BUSINESS. If duplication isn’t occurring from your efforts and the efforts of people you introduce, your business is stagnant and probably going backwards. Success tends to breed success in this business.

Many successful Representatives make a daily effort to speak to a few people they barely know, spreading the word about “toxic chemicals”. We call this the three foot rule. Anyone who comes within three foot of you could be interested in current health issues and chemical toxicity. No doubt they have friend or a relative who is suffering some form of metabolic disease and would like to know more.

Playing Marbles

Here is a good tip I picked up from another network. Some of their most successful distributors never get dressed without putting 6 marbles in a pocket. Every time they tell someone about their opportunity or products during the course of the day they move a marble into another pocket. Rest assured if you took the time to speak to a minimum of 6 new people every day about chemical free products and the business opportunity, then your business would grow in leaps and bounds.

If you found just one person per day that took the time to visit your website and sign up as a Preferred Customer then your BV “Business Volume” and your retail profit would go through the roof. Keep this in mind!

 Exponential Income

To give you an idea of how the volume and your bonuses can accrue, look at the simple table below. This is worked out on the basis of teaching everyone in your team to find three Associates each and 100 customers each over the course of a year.  If we apply the Fast Start bonuses over your group and the Customer Gathering retail bonus to your own customers - the equation looks very lucrative!

The table below doesn’t take into account the Retirement Bonuses, Leadership Bonuses, or the Business Builders bonuses which could easily add another $1000 to $20,000 extra per month depending on exactly how your business was structured and the number of people in it.

If we assume Casual Customers, (customers you have recommended to the company), order on average just $100 per month, the bonus commission you would be paid on an individual customer would be $25 each month. If over the course of 12 months you develop 100 customers who regularly order the products, your direct commission from your own customer base would be $2500 per month at the end of this time. (Note this is a hypothetical generalization of the earnings put in a simple way for example purposes)

Bear in mind, these are ALL customers who order direct from the company. You never need to buy product, handle the product, pay for the product, or deliver the product. This is all done automatically by the company on your behalf every month. You only need to do the work once and that is to find the customer in the first place.

It gets better!

You are also paid under the Sponsor Tree part of the Compensation Plan for all the customers your team members introduce to the company as they always remain in what is called the Sponsor Tree. It is a little more complicated to understand and we need to refer to the BV or Business Volume of the customer orders as opposed to the Retail Price.

BV is the amount of money left after ONE Group have taken out their operating expenses and profit from the wholesale price. If the order is worth $60 wholesale then the BV is normally around 20PV (Point Value). (This is just a rough guide to be able to explain how it works). You are paid a percentage of all Customer Orders from team members below you at the following rates provided you have bought a qualifying order of 75PV and have reached the Rank necessary to be paid on all levels. Refer to the Compensation Plan (Marketing Plan)

However, let’s face it. It NEVER works out perfectly like this for ANYONE! It’s mathematically impossible for everyone to achieve an income as outlined above!  It’s this sort of seemingly impossible earnings which tends to give network marketing a bad name in general and rightly so because many slick marketers just concentrate on selling the dream.

I have to be brutally honest - there is absolutely NO HOPE of the AVERAGE person ever cracking through to this sort of income. Although some people in this industry do earn what you would call almost obscene incomes like this - 99.99% of networkers don’t and NEVER will!

BUT - consider this. If you are dedicated to making your Network Marketing business work, a realistic and very achievable income is 5 to 10% of the above figures in a two to five year period.

If we do the sums with all the Reps finding just ten customers each over the course of the year it still stacks up very nicely over a five year period for those Reps who teach their team how to duplicate what they have done themselves.

You know, it’s always the same old story and it never ceases to amaze me, 80% of people in their own Network Marketing business are basically lazy and expect free rides by introducing others (they dream of finding “Big Hitters”) who do all the work. It just doesn’t happen like this! You must become a “Big Hitter” yourself, well at the very least you must find ten customers and three Reps per year and teach this to your team, if you want to succeed spectacularly with any Network Marketing company. So it falls back onto the Business Builders to achieve more. Believe me! Business Builders can easily reach the five and ten percent levels I mention above, provided they make a consistent effort and they help sufficient numbers of people in their team to make respectable incomes too.

I guess it all comes down to whether you would be happy to spend two to five years to develop a permanent ever increasing residual income of $10,000 to $20,000 per month. Incomes like this are relatively common place amongst networkers. It’s a very real and achievable target for any Business Builder in the ONE Group business to reach. I have rubbed shoulders with many people in the Network Marketing industry, who have been earning well in excess of the quoted figures after doing their “time” learning the ropes and gathering customers, then teaching their own team how to do the same.  

Once you add the additional income streams from the Leadership Bonuses, Loyalty Bonuses and the Retirement Bonuses and the shares earned from the Business Builders Pool, even in the early stages of your business, you have the start of a very lucrative income that could earn you many more thousands of dollars per month for an unlimited time into the future. Passive or residual income is what everyone should be aiming for. There is little security in paying into superannuation funds these days with some of the massive collapses in recent times. I have friends that lost their entire life savings at age 60 with one of these funds. How would you feel if that was you? Not good I can assure!

There is nothing certain in this life, so why leave things to chance. At least if you start your own network business and work hard at it by gathering customers and finding Reps, then you will be much more in charge of your own destiny. One of the good things about gathering customers is the fact that many of those customers will go on to become Representatives in your organization and introduce other customers. Then you really do have the start of a passive residual income!

Another really good thing about your ONE Group business is the fact you can leave your business in your will to your kids if you want to. Think of the very real difference we can make to the lives of perhaps thousands of people or even millions in the future as we use the income generated within our respective businesses, to continue to promote safe and sustainable Organic Farming and Ethical Business Concepts to the world.

 

So - let’s get out there and start finding customers and teach your team to do the same thing.

Your business should initially be built around word-of-mouth recommendations rather than a direct sales type approach. However, as time progresses you may want to extend your reach. This is true of many people who have been in networking in the past and they have basically exhausted all their warm contacts. This is a problem often encountered by experienced networkers who have been seduced by company hype and glitter from past “Opportunities” that simply didn’t live up to the hype and they have alienated many of their inner circle people by being too persistent.

Advertising is not for the faint hearted as it moves you into an entirely different market – the “Cold Market” – people you don’t know. It’s not something the average new Representative with ONE Group can even hope to crack. Because people that don’t know you - are far more skeptical of you and your motives. Finding people in the cold market is fraught with difficulties and should only be attempted once you have worked through all the people on your warm list and gained much more Network Marketing experience.

Now you are ready to start gathering unlimited customers and distributors and building your future!

Remember:

  • Why you joined; what you want to achieve.

  • To set yourself goals and review these regularly

  • To start each day with at least one target you can achieve during the day (so every day you get to feel great about achieving something!)

  • To plan your time and stick to your plans

  • To review how effective your work style is

  • Never prejudge – or rule out anyone

  • To be open about what you are doing and not to be a ‘secret agent’

  • Rejection of the Certified Organic products is not a rejection of you.

  • To KISS your contacts and keep it simple!

  • To be direct – you can probably be a lot more direct than you think you can.

  • To talk about health and chemical issues every day with as many contacts as possible.

  • Don’t have an agenda every time you talk to people. Be natural and thoughtful and ask questions.

  • Pay attention to people and ask questions about them. Concentrate on them not you.

  • Keep the “I” word and “me” word out of your conversations as much as possible. Use "you" and "your" when talking to prospects.

  • To help people fill in the form on the website as soon as they agree that they are interested in the products or the opportunity.

Most of all, TO ENJOY WHAT YOUR ARE DOING - have fun and to understand that everyone you convert to using Certified Organic products is helping to save the world from mass bio-accumulation of chemicals in our collective bodies and in all the wildlife on this planet.
