#2 Network Marketing on the Internet

Last report we covered some of the basic things you needed to do to get your business off to a good start. This report I tell you how to go prospecting on the Internet for people to join you in your Organic Natural Enterprize business.

GETTING STARTED

One of the greatest difficulties for people new to networking is actually getting started and having the confidence to approach others about their business opportunity.

Of course, all of us should be still using all the time proven methods of Networking. Your "Warm Market", people you know, is still the most likely place you will find key members in your team. Another simple exercise is to take a bottle of chemical soup hand or body lotion bought over the counter somewhere and key in the names of the various chemicals in listed on the back and put the word "toxicity" after the chemical name. For instance try something simple like "petroleum jelly toxicity" in the google search engine and see what you can find. Now who would have thought that good old petroleum jelly - commonly known as Vaseline was a potential carcinogen? Use any of the chemical names on products in your house and do searches on them. Hardly any are what I would call safe!

So make sure you use these valuable resources and people know how to find their own information. They are there for all of us to use. However a word of warning don't send anyone to the various sites unless you already have contact with them. Don't just send out emails referring to the sites without getting dialogue going first with your prospect. Make it a personal referral from you to a third party, the  information websites, which lends weight to what you are saying. You may lose prospects if they fill in a request for more information on the site they are visiting if you haven't established some sort of rapport first.

Finding Prospects.

I often have people say to me, "We don't know many people" or "We don't want to approach our friends or relatives about this business". I say "Why on earth not?" Surely your friends and relatives and loved ones are the first you should be asking to take a look at what toxic chemicals are doing to us all. After all you aren't asking them to buy anything - just to have a look at a website you have found. Let them start to have their mind opened by factual information. Honestly anyone who spends any reasonable amount of time on net seeking their own information will have their eyes opened. They would need to be brain dead if they didn't have some inkling that chemicals are causing loads of health problems.

You don't want to be selling anything to your friends. This isn't the way to do the business. We educate people first and foremost and then they want to source safe synthetic chemical free products at the best possible price. Your customers alone would generate you $3000 per month! This is without even starting to build a downline.

So start by making a list of everyone you know and ask them to take a look at what you have found. Ask them for their opinion. Don't try to convince or persuade anyone. Just ask them what they think about it because you value their opinion. Most people love being asked for their advice.

Finding Prospects Online

You know - the Internet is a really big place. The Google search engines trawls over 40 billion pages of information in a week to regularly update the database. Google is the most powerful and the most used search engine in the world and I am going to tell you how to put it to use for your business.

Here is a simple exercise for you. Click on this link for Google www.google.com  now key a common name say John Smith into the search box and click search the web. LOL I just did this right now and 2,060,000 pages came up. Well so what you ask, what on earth has this got to do with anything? Well the answer isn't always obvious. Many of the John Smiths listed are no use to you but start scrolling down through the websites and low and behold a lot of those John Smiths will be either networkers or someone trying to make a living from selling stuff on the Internet.

Wouldn't it be fair to assume that a certain percentage of them would be very interested in a "world first" product range that they could make a lot of money from? You better believe it! Networkers and other business people are always looking for good opportunities to make more money. So there is your first 2 million names to contact. How simple is that! Start anywhere and bring the sites up and as soon as you find a John Smith who is obviously selling stuff off his site or is a networker find the contact page and write a polite note and ask him if he is interested in 100% synthetic chemical free skin care products made to Certified Organic FOOD GRADE standards. Would they be interested promoting the Certified Organic business on the Internet. After all that is what he is on the Internet for - promoting and making money hopefully.

But why stop at just John Smith. Think of all the other names out there. It's mind boggling! Wow I just did a net search on my own name and Google found 4540 pages with the words Geoff and Goldie. (Please don't start sending me information.)

It's obvious I am a an Internet based networker as my name is all over the place on classified ads and guest books my websites and how many other places I don't know!  A simple bit of work and you would find my contact page or email address and I could be a very good prospect. Tell you the truth this is exactly how I was contacted. My sponsor asked me to take a look at this business and I was signed up within a matter of a few hours! It took me just 20 minutes to realise I was looking at the best business opportunity I had ever seen in my life!

Imagine the number of experienced networkers out there just like me who would love to have advanced notice of this business. Just think - how easy it is going to be for you to build a massive downline if you play your cards right. Not only learn how to do this yourself but teach your downline to do the same thing. The world sure is a big market

Narrowing the field.

Here is a tip for when searching on Google. Simply put your key term in "inverted commas" like this "Geoff Goldie" or "John Smith". This amazing search engine then in a matter of second or faster will find every exact match for that name on the web. So instead of 2m random johns and smiths it searches just for "John Smith" Try it - You will find it is cut back to just 406,000 "John Smiths"

But wait there is more!

To really get to the heart of the networking "John Smiths" do this - key in "John Smith" as before but put the words - independent distributor - after the name. Don't use inverted commas for the second term but leave the name in inverted commas. Like this - "john smith" independent distributor - Wow look at this I have 690 John Smiths who are all Independent Distributors I can approach about Organic Natural Enterprize. See how to target people and approach them using the power of the Google search engine

What about if you key in the term "Independent Distributor" in inverted commas. Then you have a list of every Independent Distributor with a website that is listed on google in the world 69,000 of them. Should keep you and your team busy for a day or two! As I said this is mind boggling. There is no reason to ever run out of people to contact about this opportunity. And these guys are all targeted people - you are getting right in there at the core of the experienced networkers and contacting people who know how to drive network business forward in top gear.

Now for those of you not too good at letter writing here is a sample template letter for you to use.

For goodness sake don't send them directly to your website or give them too much information. You want them to be curious about what you know and they don't - then once the dialogue starts you have a far better chance of signing them up. I suggest never give out your mionegroup.com replicating URL to anyone until they ask for it.

Otherwise some nasty person just may shop you for spam. The last thing you want is to lose your Organic Natural Enterprize business- so DON'T SPAM people.

Ask permission to send information to them - especially - ASK before you send large attachments and people will appreciate your courtesy.

You could try using a redirected domain in the initial letter which gives you some protection from a spam complaint. For instance if I sent someone to my own URL www.hallgold.com/mnt which redirects to www.mienterprize.com/?nontoxic site, there is virtually no risk. In reality the risk is absolutely negligible that a complaint would be made or made to stick because there is no direct link to the Organic Natural Enterprize website. They can complain to you but so what. People aren't happy sometimes unless they are complaining. Just move on!
