Well how did you go with your search engine exercises? Sure are a lot of John Smiths out there. I guess you are starting to see some of the enormous potential to contact people using the Internet.

MORE CONTACTING METHODS

Visitor Books

Have you ever been to a website and found it has visitor book on it? Many websites have a book for visitors to fill in and leave any comments about the site. After all, most site owners go to a great deal of trouble building their sites and are justifiably proud of them and invite people to leave their comments!

You know this is a valuable resource for us networkers to be able to make contact easily and not actually send an email to anyone and be accused of spam. Once again the Google search engine is pivotal in this exercise. Just key "Independent Distributor" in the inverted commas into google and you will have sixty or seventy thousand sites to select from.

Now this gives you a fairly wide choice As you work through the sites look to see if they have a visitors book you can make some comments in. The preferred method of contacting the site owner would be through the visitors book rather than email. Yes but I hear you say, the owner might not look at the comments for ages. Well it doesn't stop with the owner of the site. Many people click on the visitors book and read the comments that are in there. Even though they may not leave a message themselves. Just out curiosity they will read through many of the messages.

This makes it easy for us to place a message on a website that may not only interest the owner of the site in your business and products but everyone else that looks too.

See if you can find the site owners name and address the message to him/her.

Here is an example:

Dear Bill,

I found your site while surfing the net and I would like to compliment you on your work.. I have found it interesting to read through and learnt a few things about your business.

I see you are on the net obviously to make money and wondered if you may be interested in this brand new company with a special Certified Organic skin care product range 100% free of all toxic chemicals. We also have toiletries and cosmetics and health care products. The company has even been backed by a government grant to develop more certified organic products. It is a real breakthrough as no other company in the world has a Certified Organic Cosmetic range that meets the tough USDA Organic Standards and surpasses UK Soil Association standards. They even have it all Certified in Japan and Australia too. In fact the Skin Care range is made to organic FOOD GRADE standards which are the most stringent standards in the world

I'm sure with a bit of work you would find visitor books all over the net to put a message like this on. You don't have a single go at contacting the site owner like you do with an email. Multiple people may read the message depending on how many visitors the site gets. The message may stay indefinitely and be directing people to your website for years to come. Eve better the search engines will read visitors books too and you may find by using selective keywords that surfers will find your site via a popular website's visitors book.

Message and Discussion Boards

Another popular place people gather on the Internet are the discussion boards. Again this is where Google can track you down some good discussion boards. There are hundreds of thousands of them out there covering all sorts of topics. If you wanted to you could search for specific topics. Try this - key in "discussion board health" leave the inverted commas off and you will find there are around 1.36m sites. Should keep you active for a day or two! Lets use the power of Google again to narrow the field. Key in "discussion boards" health. Wow we just lost 800,000 sites that may not have been discussion boards. You haven't got quite as much work to do now!

So how do you get your message onto a discussion board without upsetting the moderator who may not want blatant advertising on his board? (some do allow email links for people to make contact but not URLs usually)

Simple!

You go onto the discussion board and you pose a question.

"I was looking at the ingredients on my toothpaste because I had been getting mouth ulcers and saw it had all these chemicals in it. I was horrified when I keyed some of them into the search engine. Then I did some more research on the chemicals in my skin cream. Ugh! So I tried to find organic products not just toothpaste but skin care and cosmetics and stuff. Most were no better. What on earth do they mean by natural if they have chemical names I can't even pronounce let alone spell.

Is there any such thing as safe and natural or Certified Organic when it comes to skin care and personal care products?

You know what don't you - there will be people falling over themselves to tell you where you can get these so-called safe products which are still full of synthetic chemicals.. BUT! You have a plan! Simply arrange with someone who has a different email address to go onto the discussion board within a day or two and post a reply. But please make sure it isn't blatantly obvious. Don't both register on the same day as new users. Stick to the rules of the board and don't post the URL of your website if they don't want advertising on the board. Also please use your own words and leave in the occasional 'spellin' mistake as this will make the message look much more genuine.

I read with interest your comments because I had exactly the same experience. I used to get terrible skin problems and canker sores of the mouth all the time. I am absolutely certain it was the sodium hydroxide and the sodium lauryl sulfate that was causing my problems. Anyway I have found a source of Certified Organic products and they (the company) reckon  they are 100% free of all synthetic chemicals. There are no chemical names at all on them and they all have the Certified Organic label so it must true! I just can't believe the difference they made to my skin. Have a look at this URL and see what they have got. I found the Toxic Chemical Dictionary was very useful. Cost me a bit though because I threw everything out I had been using. LOL. Still a lot better than being poisoned! It works and it is free! You could generate dozens or even hundreds of enquiries if the discussion board is visited by lots of people.

If you think about this carefully it would probably pay you to be the person who responds after your friend or business partner, or spouse, whoever with the separate email address has asked the question. This way the enquiry will come directly back to your email address. If you play your cards right you could build your entire downline from contacts on discussion boards only! Powerful stuff!

Once again we are coming to the end of the report. This should keep you busy for a day or two planning where to start. Couple of tips yet!

Tip:

 Don't start at the top of the search engine listings - otherwise if hundreds of you all do this the moderators will smell a rat and soon take off the obvious advertising. Select them at random and take note of them in a book so you can go back to the most effective ones. Plan out your marketing campaign carefully and you will soon be pulling dozens of leads.

Download the google toolbar onto your computer and you have the world's best search engine right there for instant use every time you go on the Internet. You can even fill in forms and block annoying pop up ads with a single click. Get the google tool bar here www.google.com and follow the instructions to download the tool bar onto your computer. It will automatically come up every time you activate Internet Explorer. You will find this the most valuable tool for quick effortless searching. Another very useful aspect of Google is you can search within a site to find specific pages of information
