There are a lot of ways to advertise and generate leads on the
Internet . There are many free ways and others that will cost you
money. Some produce results fast... others take a considerable time to
become effective.
Some of the free ways give really good results... other free ways
are a waste of effort.
I always recommend to my group to consider four main points when
deciding on a method to use:
- Your Budget
- How much time have you got
- Are you teachable
- How quickly do you want to build your

I don't pretend to be an expert in the field of Internet
Marketing as Networking is my forte. However, it is possible to make
a successful marriage of the two. Provided you are willing to learn
and develop your own methods as well as what you learn from us...

When I first started using the Internet to generate leads just two
years ago, the market was entirely different to what it is now.
Information travels at astounding speed on the Internet and much of
what was good then is no longer any use now. What is working for

Reverse Advertising or Bounce Back Emails
If you are like me then you will receive dozens of emails every
day telling you about some great offer. I view these emails as a
valuable resource. Most people think they are a damned nuisance and
are always complaining. This is how you turn the tables. Don't
delete them... bounce them straight back with your own message.
After all... they are all opportunity seekers and trying to make
money from something on the Internet with very little success in
most cases.
Set up an email signature with a well crafted letter and when the
email comes in just hit reply - then delete the letter. This takes
virtually no extra time to do. The signature letter will
be automatically inserted into the email and "whammo" you have just
asked someone to look at your opportunity! Provided you have

If you don't have an autoresponder set up - (like this one which
anyone can get for free at
http://www.getresponse.com) - leave out the mention of the
autoresponder and invite the person to get back directly to you by
email or phone.
Don't put your
Organic Natural Enterprize website address in the email just in case
they report you for spam. (Highly unlikely as they have already
emailed you!)
If you do have an autoresponder set up, the lead can apply to receive a number of informative and useful
reports about health and the role chemicals are playing in the ill

yourself from material you gather off the net or use the letters I
have already written and are available to load directly into your
own autoresponder at the click of a button.

| Note: The cancer reports are yours to

Simply send a blank email to the address above and as the
reports come in you can alter them in the FrontPage software
and copy them to your own autoresponder or simply copy and
paste the source code into Outlook Express where you can alter
them quite easily This is what you do to alter them in
Outlook Express.
Click on Create Mail click View click
Source Edit and three extra buttons will appear at the
base of your window called Edit - Source and Preview
Click on Source and then copy the Source Code
from the email you want to modify directly into the body of
the Create Email window you are working on.
If this is all too technical for you just ignore it for
now. There are lots of other things you can be doing as
outlined in earlier reports as far as contacting people is
concerned. |
How to set up a signature file
| Open Outlook Express program if this
is what you are using. If not you will have to adapt these
instructions for your email program. Click on Tools then
Options then Signature then New. In the box
where it says Text - simply paste the letter you have
composed and already copied on your WordPad or whatever you
are using - direct into the box and rename it to "ONE Grp
bounce back email" or whatever takes your fancy. Then click
Apply and your email signature letter is all set up ready
to be used.
Now to ensure your email signature letter is on the emails
when you want to work through simply go back to the email
signature area using the above procedure and check the box
where it says "Add signature to all outgoing messages" Once
you have hit reply and and deleted all the emails you want to
reply to then you can go back into the signature area and
uncheck the box so the signature is no longer on your emails.
It is simple to set up several email signatures for
specific emails. For instance you may want to copy and paste
the Cancer Signature above in to your program. |
Spam emails you can't reply to. How to beat them.
| One of the scourges of the Internet is the
number of people who send you material you just don't want to
receive - "Get Plump Lips" - "Amazing Penis Growth" - "Instant
Credit Now" - "Viagra Online" etc etc. On and on it seems to
go. Most of these people sending out these garbage emails are
the true spammers and never have a return path to email back
to them so you can reply to them. More often than not they
don't even have a remove link or if they do, it doesn't work.
All it does is confirm your email address is valid so they can
add your name to the list and sell it on to countless others
who participate in this illegal practice. Here is what you
do to stop them. Say someone has emailed you a particularly
offensive email that you simply don't want to receive ever
again from the sender. Simply highlight the header in the
In Box and then go up to the Tool Bar on the top of
your screen and click on Message. In the box select
Create Rule from Message.
You'll see "Select Conditions for your rule"
Leave "Where the from line contains people" highlighted
then go to the next box "Select the actions for your
rule" and scroll down to the last action "Delete from
server" Check this box. Next time they send you an
email from the same address it will be deleted from the server
before you get it delivered to you. This means the email is
bounced back at them and their software will automatically
remove your email address from the database they are using.
This should stop the problem. However often it doesn't
because the spamming software they are using is rotating new
"from addresses" all the time - using fictitious sender
details with false hotmail accounts etc. Don't worry most of
the time you can still beat them.
When I get offensive emails I can't stop or viruses sent to
me I don't hesitate. I report them to the server the emails
are being routed through. It is every responsible Internet
users right to put a stop to offensive emails they don't want
to receive because of the wasted time and hassle they can
cause to the recipients of them.
So report them if they don't have a removal mechanism on
the email.
Sorry to be so detailed about this but spam emails can
severely slow up your marketing on the Internet if you don't
know how to deal with them.
Below is an exact copy of how I stopped this spammer in
their tracks by lodging a complaint direct with the server
they were using. My complaint was completely justified because
they did not have a remove pathway and the email had code
written into it which forced my computer to access the
Internet when I didn't want it to!
Dear support,
I would like to lodge a
complaint against the person who sent me an email which
caused problems with my computer.
The email header details below.
This email was a very large
email complete with moving images and sound which completely
took over my computer and made it crash.
It is a commercial spam email I
have not requested and I resent receiving because of the
length of time for it to come in and the resultant havoc it
caused.
I would really appreciate it if
you can take whatever action is needed to prevent this
person sending out garbage emails like this again to me.

The all important header information is included with the
complaint to the server. This is easy to get. Any email you
are having difficulty stopping or find offensive or contains
an attached virus then follow this procedure. With the
email in your Inbox highlight the header of it -
don't open it - then right click on the header - a box will
appear and then click Properties - click Details
- right click on the details and Select All - then
click Copy. Once you have the header details on the
clipboard simply create a new email and paste the header
details into the body of the email.
Then you can work out how to track the person down. In
the example above the person has tried to disguise who they
are and where the email has originated from.
recoveredpiuf@mail333.com is a completely fictitious
address. Mail333.com is a Russian ISP and they have nothing
to do with this particular email. But if we look more
closely at the header you will see my address
agent@north-devon-property-sale.co.uk which has
been the targeted address for the spammer and above that the
message ID.
Now above this again is the telling information which I
have made bold and highlighted in red, the actual server
which has been used, videotron.ca
and 66.130.155.4 which is the number of the
computer they have used to send the email from. To make sure
this was an actual server (ISP) I simply entered videotron.ca into
the google search engine which found it instantly and I was
able to verify the site. Sure enough this is a bona fide ISP so
it was a simple matter to direct the report to
abuse@videotron.ca
This will be the end of this spammers use of that ISP!.
Before I checked videotron.ca I ran a check on
mail333.com which the spammer had used to try and throw
people off the track. This was a blatant attempt to
make it look like it had come from the Russian ISP. In this
case it failed to fool me and I was able to easily locate
the server the spammer used and ask
them to take the appropriate action.
The whole process took about 2 or 3 minutes to determine
whether I could lodge an official complaint and a another
few minutes to write the email and copy the header details.
Compare this to the time this person caused me to waste by
jamming the computer and
it is time well spent ridding them from my Inbox forever!
Sorry to be so long winded about this. Spam is such a
contentious issue and if you spam people and try to disguise
who you are and send commercial emails then sooner or later
you will send one to someone like me that will nail you down
through the ISP. You may even end up being blacklisted by
the ISPs in your country if you continue to do it.
So be warned DON'T SPAM people.
